Pre-Processing

Pre-processing provides the client with visibility into the data prior to processing.  Undertaking this stage of the edisclosure process prior to indexing can significantly reduce data volumes and keep costs under control and proportionate.

At this stage, files can also be filtered against the NIST List to remove known files types such as operating systems.  The document set can be presented by custodian , timeline and file type and understandable metrics reports produced as required.  This process confirms whether all relevant case data has been collected and allows an accurate estimation of edisclosure budgets and timelines.
